Nest Studio Showhouse Features

Hi all!  A couple weeks ago we did a little recap of Nest Studio in the press. 2016 is also proving to be a year of showhouses galore for our hardware line!  We've done several of them and really had a great reaction from the design community.  Showhouses are such a great way to increase brand awareness and work with top tier designers. Here is a little recap.

First was the Christopher Kennedy Compound at Palm Springs Modernism Week.

Justin Shaulis used our Classic 01 pull in the Powder Room

Denise McGaha used our Transparencies 02 knob in the laundry room (and let's talk about how fabulous that Fromental wallcovering is)

The lovely ladies of Trellis Home used our Classic 03 drop pulls in the kids' bath. They pair perfectly with the beautiful acrylic mirror.

And finally Kelli Ellis featured our F-01 Long pull in the Master Bath.

More recently Lisa Mende used our Facets series knobs and pulls in the guest house kitchenette at the Southern Style Now showhouse.  Love how eclectic yet classic this kitchen feels. Black cabinets are always a win.

The lovely Meg Braff used our Facets series in several places throughout the Coastal Living showhouse in the Hamptons. And it was a real treat to go see the house in person.

And last but certainly not least, the Pink Clutch blogger Paige Minear used our new Reveal Series pulls in satin brass on the beautiful makeover of her living room for the House Beautiful sponsored One Room Challenge.

Nest Studio in the Press

It's been a while since I posted about Press Mentions. Over the past few months we've been very lucky to have had a number of mentions. Aside from the Apartment Therapy book that came out that featured our previous house, we were also featured in Elle Decor, Consumers Reports and HGTV Magazine.

Apartment Therapy Book

Apologies for the blog silence. It's been very busy over at the Nest recently.  Between work and other big developments (more on that later - but a few hints on facebook), it's been hard to find time to blog.  Not to mention that when you take a hiatus it's easy to sort of forget how to blog in the first place.  That said, if you follow me on any other social media, you may have noticed that the Apartment Therapy Book: Complete and Happy Home by Maxwell Ryan just came out and features our house!  Super exciting.  They came back and shot our house in the spring of 2014 for the book after it was featured on an AT House Tour.  I was pregnant with Lucy and crazy kids stuff had not yet overrun our house.  Here are some photos from my instagram feed (although there are a bunch more photos of our house in the book).

We went to the book signing party and Maxwell was such a gracious host. I also got to meet Christiane Lemieux of Dwell Studio and Wayfair which was a big moment for me. She is such an inspiration from a business standpoint. I feel like she is like the Jenna Lyons of the interior design product world.

Anyways, I'm buying the book as everyone's Christmas present this year.  Go out and get yourself a copy if you haven't already. There are some amazing spaces featured. I feel very humbled to be included.

2014 Press

2014 was a great press year for Nest Studio. Aside from having our house shot for the Apartment Therapy Book and having my client's work featured on several blogs, our hardware was showcased in a bunch of places as well.  From Architectural Digest Online to Domaine Home and AT: Maxwell's Daily Find, we received a good amount of screen time in 2014.  We hope to launch a bigger press effort this year (especially in light of introducing new products) and be on the lookout for more posts about our business goals in 2015.  In the meantime here are some excerpts from where we were featured.

On Apartment Therapy

In the Press: Architectural Digest

Recently one of our showrooms Katonah Hardware sent off some hardware samples to Architectural Digest including one of our F-03 pulls.  We got featured in their Best Renovation Products roundup for spring!  Super exciting as they are one of my benchmark publications for the design industry.

Woman's Day Spread

So here is the actual Woman's Day spread (you'll have to head out to your local newsstand if you want to actually read the text).  I would say the photos and content are pretty much true to life (granted I do wish I owed some of the stylist's props).  I love how they did a "Get the Look" section and that the featured some of my hardware!  Thanks again Woman's Day!

Woman's Day Is Out!

If you've been follwing me on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter then you know how excited I am that our feature in Woman's Day Magazine is out.  We shot it back in July (here are some behind the scenes shots from a previous post) and the final results are in!  The feature is really great and I can't thank the crew at Woman's Day enough for their hard work, from the stylist, photographer and hair and makeup artist to the editors and writers.  Here are some of the photos that appeared in the magazine (will show you the actual spread and link to the online version shortly). 

Lonny Magazine features Nest Studio

Check out September's issue of Lonny Magazine that came out today.  Our F-02 faceted knob in satin brass is featured in the Bees Knees roundup. Yay!
